Nonprofit Legal Assessment Clinic and CLE (for Volunteers)

Philadelphia VIP is hosting a legal assessment clinic for local nonprofits preceded by a one-hour free CLE training on nonprofit law. Each participating attorney will have the opportunity to provide post-clinic legal assistance to one participating nonprofit on a discrete matter.

Philadelphia nonprofits often confront legal issues that impact their ability to achieve their mission. Many such organizations lack the resources to hire an attorney.

You can be a lifeline for these organizations. At this clinic, you’ll use your legal skills to help local nonprofits identify and strategize around key issues (e.g. creating and updating bylaws, reviewing contracts, securing 501(c)(3) status).
