Client seeks assistance to probate her mother’s estate and transfer title of her home into her name. Client’s mother died testate in November 2013, leaving her home to her two children and naming them as co-executors of her estate. The pair would like to remain co-executors; however, Client’s brother is willing to give Client his interest in the property. VIP has assisted Client with completing a Tangled Title Fund application to help with the costs associated with probate. A volunteer is needed to probate Client’s mother’s estate, draft a deed in Client’s name, and file the inheritance tax return.
