Contracts-Small Business-Client is a Philadelphia-based Haitian Creole publishing company operating under the sole proprietorship of an LGBTQ Black Woman. Client wrote a children’s book and published it through her publishing company. Client was asked by a linguistic professor at MIT who specializes in the Haitian Creole language to have the book posted on the Haiti/MIT Initiative site. Client verbally agreed to allow the posting of her work. It has been six years since client agreed to the posting, and the client recently requested that the book be removed from the site. The linguistic professor has not responded to client’s request. Client is seeking legal support in writing a demand letter to request that her work be removed from the site.
