Client seeks title to his childhood home, which is currently in the name of his parents. Client’s father died intestate in January 2017, and his mother predeceased father in November 2013. One of the client’s siblings has passed without heir, and her estate will need to be opened in order to open their father’s estate. VIP will assist in drafting a petition for citation to obtain letters for the sister’s estate. All other heirs have signed renunciations and are willing to give up their interest in the property. An attorney is needed to help file the petition for citation and to probate father’s estate, including transferring title to client and assisting client in filing an inheritance tax return.
